Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Designing and exporting QR codes is free with no signup and no watermark. An optional Pro plan adds dynamic QRs (re-point a printed code), full scan analytics, a custom domain and bulk tools — but you never need it to make and download a great-looking code.

Do the QR codes expire?

No. A standard QR you design here points directly at your link and works forever — there's no redirect and nothing to keep alive. (Trackable short links and dynamic Pro codes are the exception, since they route through us by design.)

Will my logo stop it from scanning?

No — QR codes carry built-in error correction, so a centred logo and styling still scan reliably. We keep the quiet margin and contrast safe while you design.

Can I redesign a QR I already have?

Yes. Switch to the “Existing QR” tab and upload a photo or screenshot — we read the code and load it into the editor so you can restyle the ugly version.

Which format should I download?

Use SVG for anything printed large (posters, signage, packaging) since it stays sharp at any size. Use PNG or JPG for screens, social posts and quick prints.
